What Watchtower does

• Shows the readers AI sends back. Live today. Referrals from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, pulled from your GA4 so you can finally see when AI search sends a human your way, by engine and by landing page.
• Surfaces the traffic GA4 buries. AI referrals are scattered and partly mislabelled in GA4. Watchtower rolls them up into one number and one trend, with the top pages they land on.
• Crawler tracking is coming next. The other half, which AI bots scrape you (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot, PerplexityBot), lives in your server logs, not GA4. We're building that in. It's also exactly what Moat blocks.

How it works

1. Add our viewer to GA4. The same read-only connection as Glance. Add our service-account email as a Viewer.
2. Paste your property ID. Drop in the nine-digit GA4 property ID. That's the whole setup.
3. See your AI traffic. Which engines send readers, how that's trending, and the pages they land on.

Who it's for

Publishers who suspect AI is reshaping their traffic and want to measure it. Watchtower is the diagnostic; Moat is the response.

One honest caveat. AI referrers are partly stripped by browsers, so some lands in "direct". The numbers are directional, not exact, and we say so in the product.
